Ross Mills, of Tiro Typeworks, has designed and implemented the typeface we will use in the printed publication about Nelson Joseph’s work: Huronia. It supports Nuu Chah Nulth language and many others, and encapsulates Ross’ dedication to type for all Canadian languages. It is an honour to work with it.  

Work on the Nelson Joseph Project has begun, Rod has assembled quite a few of his carvings already not to mention an elaborate box for photographing the work. He keeps calling me down to show me different passages in the carvings; they are lovely. We’ll document the work process here, meanwhile working on the book…
